Peace
Lutheran Congregation was founded in 1967 in the Hardy, Arkansas area. It
began with worship in a home and grew over the years. Three daughter
congregations were started in nearby towns. By 1993 the congregation had
outgrown its facility in Hardy and had the opportunity to build a new
facility in a more central location at the edge of Cherokee Village. It became
a reality when the current building was dedicated in 1994. In order to
reach the young families in the area with the Gospel, Peace began its
PreSchool program in 1996. In 2002 Peace began a second service to meet a
wider range of needs and interest in the area regarding worship through a
praise and celebration service. For a more complete history, click here. |
